Prague, 30th November - Czech IT company PIKE ELECTRONIC, spol. s r.o. has successfully completed the integration test of software for upgrade of control system of secondary metallurgy line for South African steelworks Saldanha Steel, owned by Arcelor Mittal.
In January 2010 specialists will fly to the Republic of South Africa for final phase of the project - start up and commissioning.

The stellwork is export-oriented, specialized in hot rolling of ultra thin metal sheets (i.e. sheets thinner than 1,6 mm) made of „pure steel" without any copper or tin ingredient. The production technology meets strict emmission criteria of norms ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 as the only in the world.
